What is the best water purifying system that is reasonably priced?

We have a refrigerator with a filter system but it just quit working. I would like to install one on my kitchen sink. What would you recommend?
if cost was NOT a factor, I would have recommended an Ultra-Violet light system.
So with cost factor, I would recommend the Brita System.

Reverse Osmosis is absolutely amazing. I purchase one for about 129.00 and it is well worth the money. The filter only needs changed once a year and you take it on and off your faucet as you need it in about a second. It also filtrates out more bad chemicals then any other system on the market, I never realized how bad water tasted until we bought this system. The brand name of mine is Aquawizard, I am sure you can find one online. I actually bought mine at my Dad’s chiropractors office. Good Luck!

Get a large bucket, fill it with some water, place it under a candle lit Obama shrine, portrait and all, and pray to the anointed one to purify the water for you! Caution: a heavy tax will be billed to you for this water purifying services.
